DOVER, Del. -- The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery near a local sports bar early Saturday morning.

Police say a 55-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle at the rear of Tom's Bullpen, when he was approached on the passenger side of his vehicle. The suspect opened the door and displayed a knife, demanding money, and when the victim refused, authorities say 2-3 more male suspects approached the victim's vehicle. The victim told police that the first suspect removed his car keys and a cell phone before fleeing with the other suspects.

The investigation is on-going. The Dover Police Department is asking anyone with information to call (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted to law enforcement through tip lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or through the Dover Police Department MyPD Mobile App.
