Harrington Police Investigating Armed Robbery

HARRINGTON, Del. - The Harrington Police Department is searching for two men they say robbed a liquor store in Kent County, Delaware early Friday morning.

According to police, just after midnight Friday, two men walked into Bridle Bit Liquors on South DuPont Highway in Harrington, one of them showed a handgun and demanded money. Police saidd the suspects then jumped over the counter and took an unknown amount of money and alcohol, and took off.

Also during the robbery, police sai one of the men struck one of the employees in the face, causing minor injuries. 

The two suspects were described as two African American men. One was last seen wearing black shorts, gray sweatshirt, and is 5'07" and weighs approx. 140-150 pounds, according to police. The other was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and is about 6'1" and weigh approx. 170-
190 pounds.
