Fight Between Roommates Leads To Drug/Gun Charges

DOVER, Del. - Police have arrested a man following an argument between roommates.  According to the Dover Police Department, the roommate of 34-year-old Chad Henderson called police saying that Henderson was waving a firearm in the air and making threats to use it.

When police arrived at the residence on Stevenson Drive, they observed Henderson pacing in the living room through the window.  Officers knocked on the door and Henderson removed the gun from his back pocket and attempted to hide it in a bedroom.  Police took Henderson into custody and discovered 7 grams of cocaine on his person, a switch-blade style knife, and a gram of marijuana.  A Ruger .380 pistol was also located and recovered by police.

Henderson was booked on the following charges:
-Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon (2x-knife/firearm)
-Possession of Marijuana
-Endangering Welfare of a Child
-Drug Paraphernalia
