EASTON, Md. - Easton Police made a drug arrest over the weekend.

According to a press release out early Monday morning, Edgar Rigobart Mendez-Vicente was arrested on Sunday and charged with one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance that wasn't marijuana.

Police said the charged stemmed from an incident at The Sidetracked Saloon on Easton Avenue. Police said officers approached Mendez-Vicente who was asleep on a bench outside of the Saloon after hours. Police said, as officers approached to make sure he was okay, they saw a baggie in his hand, containing a white substance believed to be cocaine.

Police said they later confirmed the baggie's contents after they awoke Mendez-Vicente. He was taken before a Talbot County Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.
