Suspect Sought in Seaford Bank Robbery

SEAFORD, Del. - Police are currently searching for a suspect wanted for robbing the Citizens Bank on Sussex Highway in Seaford Friday morning.

According to police, officers got a call about the robbery around 10:20 a.m. They determined that the suspect had gone in and demanded money from a teller. Police said the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect ran away toward the back of the bank. No injuries were reported.

Delaware State Police's K-9 unit and aviation unit were unable to locate the suspect. The Seaford Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate.
