BEAR, Del. - Hazmat teams and emergency personnel were on the scene Saturday morning of a fire involving an oil truck in northern Delaware.
According to Delaware State Police, as of 8am Saturday, SR 1 southbound between Wrangle Hill Road (SR 72) and Red Lion Road (SR 7) was closed and police said it would remain closed for an unknown period of time.
Police advised commuters to expect delays in the area and find alternative routes of travel.
Delaware State Police and Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Hazmat Teams responded to the truck fire.
