Salisbury Fire Dept. Vehicle Involved in Crash

SALISBURY, Md.- The Salisbury Fire Department  says a command vehicle was involved in a crash while on its way to help another crash.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of East Salisbury Parkway and the Rt. 13 Salisbury Bypass.
 
The fire department unit had its lights and siren activated to assist Station 1 with another motor vehicle collision at the Hobbs Rd. and Rt. 50 intersection when the second collision occurred. 
 
Both vehicles sustained significant damage. The driver of the fire department vehicle was transported to PRMC with non-life threatening injuries and later released.

The Salisbury Police Department is investigating the incident.
