Dover Pair Arrested After 500 Bags Of Heroin Found During Traffic Stop

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say a Monday afternoon traffic stop led to the arrests of two people and the seizure of more than 500 bags of heroin. 

According to police, the traffic stop was the result of a drug investigation. Investigators said that in addition to the heroin, which totaled 7.36 grams, Isaac Jones, 32, and Chelsea Curtis, 29, were also found in possessioin of 3.9 grams of crack cocaine, and $759 in drug proceeds. 

As a result of the incident Isaac Jones was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $56,000 bond on the following charges:

-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Possession of a Tier 5 Qty Heroin
-Delivery of Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Violation of Probation

Chelsea Curtis was committed to the Baylor Women's Correctional Center in lieu of $46,000 on the following charges:

-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Possession of a Tier 5 Qty Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
