CAMBRIDGE, Md.- Maryland Natural Resources Police say a body pulled out of the Choptank River near Cambridge last week has been identified as a boater from Easton who has been missing since November.

Officials on Thursday identified the body as that of 63-year-old Edward Aasvik

DNR Police removed the body from the Choptank River near Horn Point Tuesday morning, Aug. 2.

Aasvik had been missing since November when his 27-foot cabin cruiser mysteriously appeared off of Riverpoint Road near Cambridge with nobody on board. Horn Point is in the area where DNR police had been searching for Aasvik since late last year.
