ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) - Howard County officials say they're allowing some access to Ellicott City's flood-damaged Main Street this weekend.

County officials said in a statement that merchants, residents, building owners and their guests have to be credentialed in order to access the street on Saturday and Sunday.

Access to the street had been suspended to give officials time to examine the infrastructure in the area.

Two people were killed when the town took on 6.5 inches of water within hours two weeks ago.
