Dover Police Search for Suspect in Daycare Burglary

DOVER, Del.- Dover police are looking for a man wanted for breaking into a daycare center Tuesday evening.

Police say between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., the suspect broke into Cindy's Daycare center on Forest Street, after hours once all of the employees had left. Through video surveillance, police said officers were able to identify Donald Caldwell, 30, as the the suspect. The footage showed Caldwell entering the business, breaking into an office, and causing damage to the inside of the daycare center, investigators said. 

Caldwell is wanted by the Dover Police Department for third-degree burglary and criminal mischief. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about Caldwell's whereabouts or the incident is asked to call the Dover Police at (302) 736-7130.
