DOVER, Del. - The man accused of breaking into a Dover daycare on Tuesday has been arrested, and police say he also confessed to robbing a cab driver.

According to Dover police, officers charged 30-year-old Donald Caldwell with the robbery of a City Cab driver on Tuesday morning. They say Caldwell turned himself in on Wednesday afternoon and was also determined to be the suspect in the Tuesday night burglary of Cindy's Daycare, located at 827 Forest Street.

Police say Caldwell confessed to the taxi cab robbery to detectives. He was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, third-degree burglary and criminal mischief. The charges stem from both cases. According to police, Caldwell was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $50,000 cash bond.
