REHOBOTH, Del. -- The Deputy Attorney General's office says it has secured a plea from one of the suspects involved in a Rehoboth carjacking.

Officials say Tristan Messenger, 18, of Pottstown, PA, armed with what police say appeared to be a hand gun, stole a Toyota Prius from the Starbucks on Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. Messenger has plead guilty to first degree carjacking and second degree robbery and authorities say he was sentenced to 3 and 1/2 years in prison with successful completion of the Key Program and probation.

Alan Dorman, 45, of Philadelphia, PA also made a plea deal for first degree robbery and tampering with evidence, police say. In August 2015, authorities say Dorman robbed the KFC restaurant on Sussex Avenue in Seaford at gunpoint. Dorman was identified using surveillance video from a hotel across from the restaurant . According to law officials, Dorman was sentenced to 25 years in prison and must pay $507 in restitution.
