Wanted Magnolia Man Arrested Following Drug Investigation

DOVER, Del. - Police have arrested a man who was wanted for dealing drugs and attempting to run from police in Dover.

Delaware State Police, working with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Dover Police Department, took 20-year-old Traymere Stevens of Magnolia into custody on Monday. Police said they found him in the unit block of East Water Street, Capital Green, in Dover. Stevens had run from police conducting a drug investigation back on August 10.

Stevens was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, possession of controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity with intent to deliver, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Stevens was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Institute in default of $34,000 secured bail.
