SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police say they have arrested two men who were caught in the act of burglarizing a home.

Police said that at around 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20,  officers responded to the 700 block of Camden Avenue for a report of a residential burglary in progress.

When officers arrived on the scene, they observed damage to a side window and the front door to the home was ajar. As additional officers arrived on the scene two male suspects attempted to run out of the rear of the home, according to police. The officers chased them and took them into custody.

Through further investigation the officers were able to identify the suspects as 44-year-old Larry Morrise Cozart and 39-year-old David Wayne Lowe. Police said Lowe was in possession of stolen property as he fled from the home.

Authorities said an additional investigation determined that Lowe and Cozart unplugged several electronic items within the home in an effort to steal these items, but they were interrupted when officers arrived.

There was no one home at the time of the break-in, according to police. Lowe and Cozart were arrested without further incident and transported to Wicomico County Central Booking where they are being held without bond.
