CAMBRIDGE, Md.-  In Dorchester County part of Race Street was shut down again today for the old Hearn building, no collapse this time though.

Construction crews were out Tuesday and Wednesday adding scaffolding to the building, the start of phase two in the project to save the historic building.  Race Street business owners had to cope with the closures again, but say they are happy to see the project moving forward.

"We were prepared ahead of time, but it's always a burden after being closed for seven months, and here we are back again closing the block down.  But they say they are going to put a roof on it and get everything established.  Hopefully it all goes to plan you know?" said Sergio Martinez, owner of Mr. Martin Detailing, across the street from the partially collapsed building.

Once the building is covered in scaffolding, work will begin to clear out the inside of the building and install a roof, which should be completed within a year of all the scaffolding being installed.
