DOVER, Del. -- The Delaware State Police say they are investigating a home invasion in south Dover late Saturday night.

Police say the incident occurred around 11:18 p.m. at a residence in the unit block of Weeping Willow Court when two male subjects confronted a 32-year-old female who was sleeping with her 7-year-old daughter in her bedroom. The suspects were armed and demanded cash and a safe from the victim. Police say the two men got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the victim's purse as well as a safe and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim, her 7-year-old daughter and three other children who were asleep in other rooms were uninjured in the robbery.

DSPD describe the two suspects as black males, 25-35 years of age, 5"1 - 6"01 tall. One of the suspects was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, black gloves and a white mask covering his face. The second suspect was wearing dark colored clothing with a black mask covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Delaware Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
