Investigators Looking into Fire, Bomb Threat at Kent Island High School

STEVENSVILLE, Md.- The Maryland Fire Marshal's Office is investigating after students discovered a fire in a bathroom at their high school.

The fire was found in the women's restroom on the first floor of Kent Island High School Tuesday morning.

By the time fire crews arrived, the fire had already burned out on its own.

According to investigators. a written bomb threat was found in the same bathroom. The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is investigating the threat, while the State Fire Marshal's Office investigates the malicious burning.
