Lewes Sex Offender Sought by Police

LEWES, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for a 32-year-old sex offender from Lewes wanted for failure to re-register his current address with authorities as required by law.

Troopers said Quentin D. Lewis is a Tier 3 (high-risk) sex offender who is also wanted by Troop 4 major crimes detectives for two incidents of domestic assault as well as two capiases out of Kent County courts.

Detectives believe Lewis may be in the Pinetown or Cool Springs areas near Lewes.

According to the Delaware Sex Offender Central Registry, in April 1998 Lewis was convicted of first-degree unlawful sexual intercourse with a victim between the ages of 1 and 11. In March 2003, he was convicted of sexual relations in a detention facility. 

Anyone with information on Lewis' whereabouts is asked to call (302) 672-5306 or Det. K. McCabe at (302) 752-3798.
