Salisbury Apartment Fire Causes $30K in Damage

SALISBURY, Md. - The Office of the State Fire Marshal has yet to determine the cause of a Wednesday morning apartment fire.

The Salisbury Fire Department was called to the fire at 1103 Parsons Road around 10:15 a.m. Fire marshals said a neighbor had discovered the fire in the four-unit apartment building. Twenty firefighters had it under control within 19 minutes, according to the state fire marshal's office.

Damage is estimated at about $30,000. No injuries were reported.

Fire marshals said the fire started in the living room, but the cause is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office at (410) 713-3780.
