NEWARK, Del. (AP)- Fire crews have rescued two workers who were clinging to a collapsed scaffold outside of a Delaware hospital.

Christiana fire deputy chief Kevin Cowperthwait says workers were dangling four stories high from Christiana Hospital when they were rescued Thursday morning.

Firefighters deployed ladders along the six-story building to help the unidentified workers, who were suspended from a safety line, reach the ground. Authorities say there were no injuries.

It is unclear what caused the scaffold to collapse.
