MILLSBORO, De.-   Delaware State Police continue to investigate a crash involving an overturned tractor trailer on Saturday morning.

Police say the investigation has determined that the crash happened at approximately 5:38 a.m. on Saturday, as Joseph W. Millman, 43, of Greenwood, DE, was driving a 2001 Freightliner tractor, hauling a full load of feed.  Police say he was driving north on Millsboro Highway approaching the intersection of Cowhouse Branch Road. The tractor-trailer then drifted off of the east edge of the road, according to police, where it then struck a traffic sign before overturning in a ditch where it came to rest.

Millman, who was properly restrained at the time of the crash, was not injured according to police. He was cited by troopers with Inattentive Driving.

Millsboro Highway between Cowhouse Branch Road and Nine Foot Road was closed to traffic for approximately 6 hours as the crash was investigated and cleared. It has since been re-opened.
