Delaware SPCA Poised to Reopen After a Four-Month Closure
GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - The Delaware SPCA is slated to reopen after the cash-strapped shelter was forced to close for four months due to mounting debt.
The board president of the shelter announced that it would reopen in phases, beginning with monthly vaccine clinics later this month and followed by wellness visits next year, in addition to neuter and spay services.
The facility shut its doors in June due to financial difficulty.
