Update: Teenager Arrested for Attempting to Run Someone Over in Harrington

UPDATE -- Harrington Police say 18-year-old Caris Johnson-Russ was taken into custody later Monday. Further details were expected to be forthcoming.

HARRINGTON, Del. - Police in Kent County are looking for a teenager wanted for trying to run someone over with her car.

Harrington police say they have an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Caris Johnson-Russ whose last known address is in Milford. According to police, last Thursday the suspect got into an argument with someone in the first block of Short Street in Harrington.

Police say she then got into her car and tried to hit the other person, but instead hit a curb and ran into the front of a home.

Johnson-Russ is facing an attempted vehicular homicide charge. Anyone who knows where she might be should contact Harrington police.
