SALISBURY, Md. -- The State Attorney's Office in Wicomico County says an 18-year-old man has been convicted of first-degree murder in a May shooting-death.

Law officials say Joshua Perry of Salisbury was convicted by a Wicomico County judge on October 20th for charges stemming from the May 16th shooting, where police found the body of Keonte Gaskins in the stairwell of the Waterside Apartment Complex.

Perry plead guilty to the murder in addition to a firearm offense from a second indictment involving an armed robbery. Police identified Perry as a suspect in that robbery that also happened back in May. Sentencing has been postponed for both cases.
