Pizza Delivery Driver Beaten and Robbed in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was beaten and robbed in Dover.

Police say it happened last night at Mapleton Square Apartments on Willis Road.

Around 8:15 p.m., a driver from Domino's Pizza tried to deliver food to an apartment, but the person inside told the driver he didn't order anything. Police say the driver went back to her car to check the address and that's when two women approached her and began punching her in the head and face.

Police say the victim fell to the ground and the suspects continued beating her. The victim told police a man then walked up and told her to be quiet and asked for money. The victim screamed for help, and police say the suspects took the food and took off.

The suspects were described as:

  • Black female, 5'7"-5'9", 200 lbs., 15-18 years old, wearing yellow winter coat with a hood and dark jeans
  • Black female, 5'7"-5'9", 200 lbs., 15-18 years old, black hair in pony tail, red jacket, dark blue skinny jeans, and mid-calf leather boots
  • Black male 5'11"-6'1", 170-180 lbs., 15-18 years old, light gray zip up hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
