SALISBURY, Md. - Police are searching for two suspects the day after an armed robbery of a Salisbury gas station.

According to police, a male employee of the Oceanic Gas Station located at 1312 North Salisbury Boulevard told officers two armed, masked suspects entered the store shortly before 11:45 p.m. on Sunday and demanded money.

Further investigation showed the suspects walked behind the counter and ordered the employee to lay on the floor, according to police. The employee then gave one suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, while another suspect filled a bag with merchandise from the store and the contents of the cash register, police said.

Police said the suspects ran away by the time they arrived, but surveillance photos are available. The first suspect is described as a man around six feet tall and 160 pounds wearing a mask, a dark shirt and pants and carrying a large blue bag and a firearm. The second suspect is described as a man around six-foot-three and 170 pounds wearing and holding similar items.

The male employee involved in the robbery sustained minor injuries, according to police, but refused medical attention.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are requesting anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Police Department (410) 548-3113 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
