Police: Body Found Along Route 50 Could Be Hit and Run Victim

BERLIN, MD - Police in Worcester County are investigating a body that was found on the side of the road near the Walmart in Berlin..
Maryland State Police say the body was found by a passerby on Grays Corner road which runs parallel to route 50 Westbound in Berlin.

Police were unsure of the manner of death, but believe it could be a hit and run.  The body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The identity of the body has not been released as of Friday night. 

Police are asking for any witnesses of this death investigation to contact Maryland State Police in Berlin, or Crime Stoppers.
