Man Injured in Laurel Home Invasion

LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a violent home invasion that happened on Oasis Drive in Laurel on Saturday evening.

According to DSP, a male suspect forced his way into the rear of the home, confronted two men that had been sleeping and demanded money. At one point, one of the men in the home was hit in the head with an object before the suspect or suspects fled without taking any items.

The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

DSP says there are possibly up to four suspects, all described as men but there is no further description.
