Police Investigate Robbery of Seaford Mexican Restaurant

Seaford, DE- Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a Mexican restaurant that occurred early in the night, on Dec. 1, 2016.

The incident occurred at around  7:05 p.m., when an armed man entered Flor De Mexico Taqueria, in Seaford.

Authorities say the suspect approached a female clerk who was standing behind the counter and demanded cash.  The clerk complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the suspect then left the store and fled in an unknown direction.  The female clerk was not injured.

The police say the suspect is described as a male, 6’00”-6’02” tall, 180-200 lbs., wearing all dark colored clothing and was armed with an unknown type handgun.
