Car, Home Struck by Gunfire in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Police say a car and an occupied home were struck by gunfire early Monday morning in Dover. 

Dover police said that shortly after midnight, several shots were fired in the 100 block of Ann Avenue. A home was struck at least eight times and a car twice. The home was occupied by a man and his son at the time of the shooting. Neither was injured as a result of the gunfire, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
