Crisfield Fire Ruled Arson

CRISFIELD, Md. -- The Maryland State Fire Marshal has ruled the cause of an early morning two-story house fire as arson.

Early Friday morning around 2:56 a.m., fire rescue crews were called out to a home on the 3000 block of Sackertown Road after a neighbor discovered the fire. The fire started in the interior living room of the home; it took 30 firefighters an hour to take out the fire. An estimated $30,000 worth of damage was reported. 

Fire officials are investigating who is behind the arson. Anyone with information on this arson are asked to call the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office at (410) 713-3780.
