WICOMICO COUNTY, Md.- Wicomico County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Salisbury woman accused of firing a gun during a fight.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a deputy responded to a home in the 28000 block of Naylor Mill Road on Christmas day for a reported dispute.

The victim told the deputy his girlfriend, 48-year-old Jean Nauman, got angry and grabbed at .357 revolver and fired a shot in his direction.

Deputies say they did find evidence a shot had been fired. They say Nauman told deputies she meant it as a "warning shot."

Nauman was arrested and is being held pending a bond review. She is charged with 1st and 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
