DOVER, Del.- Two people had to be rescued from an apartment fire in Dover on Wednesday morning.

Dover firefighters were on the scene at the Towne Point Apartments off of Carvel Drive. Fire Chief Buck Carey said three people were hurt, one of whom went to the hospital. That person's condition is unknown at this time.

There is no word yet on the fire's origin or cause as the investigation into the blaze is still underway, according to the fire chief.
