Fire Breaks Out in Princess Anne Home

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- Authorities are investigating a weekend fire that heavily damaged a home in Princess Anne. 

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said the fire broke out around 8:36 p.m. Sunday in the front bedroom of a two story home on the 11000 block of Dryden Road. One of the home's residents discovered the fire.

Investigators said it took 25 Princess Anne firefighters two hours to put out the one alarm fire. The fire caused an estimated $85,000 in damage to the structure and another $15,000 in damage to its contents, according to fire officials. There were no reported injuries.
