House Fire Causes Quarter-Million in Damages

ROCK HALL, Md. - The Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company responded to a two-alarm fire in a two-story house on Pine Lane in Kent County, Md.

The Maryland Fire Marshall's office said, on Saturday, June 1, at 8:46 p.m. a fire started in the attic and took fifteen minutes to control.

The home is owned by John and Karen Hubacher and was discovered by someone passing by the house.

Firefighters said, the cause of the fire is still undetermined, but estimated $250,000 in damages.
