Man Shot and Wounded in Milton

MILTON, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday night north of Milton.

A 21-year-old man was shot in the upper torso around 10:30 p.m. on the 12000 block of Reynolds Road, according to police.

The man was driven from the scene in a privately owned car and was taken to the Milton Fire Department. He was then transported to the hospital by EMS, where he was admitted in stable condition, police said.

Further investigation revealed that several people arrived at the Reynolds Road address to fight another person when an unidentified man fired multiple shots, striking the victim once in the upper torso, police said.

No one else was injured during the shooting, police said.
