"Bonnie and Clyde" Burglary Suspects in Lincoln Arrested

LINCOLN, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a boyfriend and girlfriend for a burglary spree in the Lincoln area. 

Police said 32-year-old Christopher S. Malvas and 30-year-old Cheryl L. Bracey were arrested in connection with multiple residential burglaries on Greentop Road, Mayhew Drive, Fleatown Road and Cubbage Pond Road.  The burglaries happened between April and June of 2017. 

The couple broke into houses and outbuildings that were unoccupied at the time stealing electronics, money, jewelry, scrap metal and more, according to police.  After their heist, police said the two would attempt to trade or sell the stolen items for drugs. 

Malvas was charged with six counts of burglary, two counts of possession of burglar tools and nine counts of theft among several other charges, according to police.  He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $81,800 cash bond. 

Bracey was charged with three counts of burglary, seven counts of theft and seven counts of conspiracy among several other charges, according to police.  She was committed to Delores J. Baylor Womens Correctional Institution on $14,750 secured bond.
