MILFORD, Del.-  The Milford Police Department is investigating after a woman allegedly ran towards a female victim and threw a liquid, believed to be bleach, in the her face.

According to police, the liquid caused the victim to temporarily lose vision.

The suspect, 19-year-old Gabrielle Knight, got in a car to leave the area, but as she did, the victim's arm got caught in the driver's side window and she was knocked to the ground, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

A warrant was obtained for Knight, but she turned herself into police. She was charged with third degree assault, reckless endangering and criminal mischief under $1,000. Knight was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1,100 unsecured.

She's scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas in August.
