SALISBURY, Md.-  A traffic stop in Salisbury led to a drug bust, according to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office.

During the traffic stop on Northgate Drive on July 5, deputies determined a probable cause to search the car, which was occupied by 32-year-old Rachael Miller and 55-year-old Stephen Duckett, Sheriff Mike Lewis said in a release.

A search of the car revealed several bags of heroin, pieces of crack cocaine and other related paraphernalia, Lewis said.

According to Lewis, once back at the Sheriff's Office, deputies realized that Miller "had secreted additional bags of heroin in her body cavity." The bags were recovered by a woman deputy.

Miller and Duckett were arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance: crack cocaine and heroin. Additionally, Miller was charged with driving on a revoked and suspended out-of-state license.

Miller and Duckett, both of Laurel, Delaware, were held in the Wicomico County Detention Center and were later released, Lewis said.
