SALISBURY, Md.- The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says a deputy arrested a Salisbury man after a traffic stop revealed an estimated $150,000 of marijuana inside a wooden crate in his vehicle.

Authorities said that on Monday a deputy pulled over Phillip Dyce in the area of Hampshire Street and Route 13 in Salisbury, Md.

During the traffic stop, a K-9 scan around the vehicle alerted a positive search.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies located a wooden create with 34 heat-sealed plastic bags containing marijuana. The total weight of the bags was approximately 38 pounds. Investigators said it is high grade marijuana with an estimated street value of $150,000.

Dyce has been charged with the following:

- Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana

- Possession of marijuana over 10 grams.

He was released to the Wicomico County Detention Center pending a bond review in District Court.
