Police Looking for Man Involved in Assault in Milford

MILFORD, De.-- The Milford Police Department is turning to the public to ask for assistance in locating a man involved in an assault.

 

A warrant is out for Huber Velasquez-Rodriguez of Milford. Police say the 36-year-old was involved in a domestic related physical altercation. They responded to a home on the 300 block of Southeast 2nd Street early Friday morning.

 

According to police, Velasquez-Rodriguez struck the victim several times, causing minor injuries that required her to be taken to Bayhealth in Milford.

 

Two juveniles witnessed the assault, one calling police to report the incident. Velasquez-Rodriguez fled the scene prior to police arrival and has not yet been found.

 

Police are urging anyone with more information about Velasquez-Rodriguez's location to call 302-422-8081.
