OCEAN CITY, Md.- Some beach goers in Ocean City got quite a surprise Monday when a large shark washed ashore.

Lifeguards pulled the dead 6-foot-shark from the water near 120th Street.

The shark was reportedly already dead when it washed up on the beach.

Video obtained by the Baltimore Sun shows lifeguards pulling the shark from the water in front of a group of vacationers.

It is not yet known what kind of shark it was or how it died.
