Dover Police Conduct Shooting Investigation

DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department is investigating a Tuesday evening shooting that involved people in two cars firing shots at each other.

The department says that at around 7:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Davis Circle and Lincoln Street.  Witnesses told police mixed reports of occupants from two separate cars shooting at each other on Lincoln Street, as they traveled in opposite directions.  

During the shooting, a home in the 100 block of Davis Circle was hit by a single round.  The home was occupied, but none of the people inside were injured.

No arrests have yet been made. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 3012-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
