ANNAPOLIS, Md.- Maryland State Police have now identified the victims of a deadly crash on Route 50 Wednesday morning.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation after a car entered the opposite lane of traffic on the highway.

The driver of a 2002 Hyundai Accent is identified as 31-year-old Christine Parks, of Severn, Md., according to Maryland State Police.  Parks was pronounced dead at the scene.

MSP said 34-year-old Hui Xu, of Herndon, Va. was the driver of a 2002 Honda Civic.  The lone occupant of the car was also pronounced dead at the scene.

21-year-olds Janet Kim and Alexander Kwon, both of California, were inside a 2014 Toyota Avalon, according to MSP.  Both were taken to Anne Arundel County Medical Center before they were treated and released.

Maryland State Police Crash Team said Parks vehicle traveling eastbound entered the westbound lane of Route 50 before striking Xu head-on.  Xu's car then rotated into the middle lane before it was struck by Kwon's Toyota, according to MSP.

Alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor in the crash, according to police.  Alcoholic beverage containers were found in Parks' car.

MSP said speed is not believed to be a factor as this time.
