Woman Wanted for Alleged Identity Theft

SALISBURY, Md.- Detectives from the Salisbury Police Department are working with the Kent County Sheriff's Office to try to identify a woman who is believed to be involved with identity theft.

According to police, an investigation revealed that the woman had illegally obtained personal identity information from several victims in the Kent County area.

The woman is allegedly responsible for using the stolen information around Salisbury to fraudulently open credit cards at businesses and make purchases at retail stores, police said.

Anyone who may have information about the identity of the woman is asked to contact Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776 or the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165.
