Two Arrests for Murder in Wicomico County

SALISBURY, Md.- Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a murder on Sunday in Salisbury and additional arrests are expected, according to Maryland State Police. 

MSP said 39-year-old Brandi D. Upshur and 23-year-old Genequa T. Winder, both of Salisbury, were charged with first and second degree murder among other charges. 

Both are being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center, according to police.  

MSP said they are being charged in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Tavin T. Molock from Sunday.  Molock was found injured on Bethel Street prior to his death at the hospital.  

An autopsy confirmed his death was a homicide, according to police.  At this time, the cause of death is being witheld by investigators. 

Police said the motive for the murder is unknown, but investigators believe Molock was assaulted by several individuals.

The investigation is continuing at this time by Maryland State Police.  Additional arrests are expected.
