Maryland Casinos Generate $138.8M in July

BALTIMORE- State officials say Maryland's six casinos generated $138.8 million in revenue in July, with MGM National Harbor leading the way at nearly $50.8 million in revenue from both slot machines and table games.
    
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency said Monday that Maryland Live Casino totaled $46.8 million from both slot machines and table games while Horseshoe Casino Baltimore came in third with $22.9 million from both slot machines and table games.

Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $6.6 million from both slot machines and table games, while Casino at Ocean Downs, which does not have table games, generated $6.4 million solely from slot machines. 

Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated nearly $5.1 million from both slot machines and table games.

In a year-to-year comparison not including MGM National Harbor, which opened in December 2016, statewide casino revenue in July 2017 decreased by $15.8 million or 15.3 percent.
