Seaford Armed Robbery Suspect Wanted

SEAFORD, Del.- Seaford police are looking for a suspect who held up the Jumbo China restaurant in the Seaford Village Shopping Center on Sunday night.

Police said that shortly before 9 p.m., an unknown white male suspect entered the business and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect demanded and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.

The suspect was additionally described as between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-0, with a slender build, wearing a teal-colored T-shirt with an unknown graphic on it, tan cargo shorts and a black and red visor cap. A dark-colored bandana covered his face.

The Seaford Police Department is requesting anyone with information about the incident to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 302-629-6648.

Police and Delaware Crime Stoppers (800- TIP-3333), are offering a reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in this incident.

    A Snow Hill man is in critical condition after a shooting Friday night. The Snow Hill Police Department responded to a shooting, or shots fired, call at around 7 p.m. at the intersection of W. Federal Street and Ross Street in Snow Hill. Police said they found Deron Raymont Ames, 25, of Snow Hill, laying along the edge of the roadway near the curb. Police said Ames was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
