DOVER, Del.- Dover police say they have arrested a man for robbing a 71-year-old woman leaving a drive-up ATM.

Police said the robbery happened shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday at a Dover Federal Credit Union on North DuPont Highway. Police said the woman withdrew an undisclosed amount of cash from the ATM and after she received the money a man got in the passenger side of her car, displayed a large knife and demanded money.

Police said the woman was told to drive to another location but that the man began to run when he saw other vehicles in the area. Police said the man was arrested after witnesses said he fled to a Super Lodge across the highway.

Police identified the man as 28-year-old Joshua Lewis and said he has been charged with first-degree carjacking, first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited.
